Kegel Exercises and Reliable Erection

What comes to your mind when you hear the word "Kegels"? For most of the people, the image conjured would be of a woman. Although Kegel exercises are quite famous, most people believe them to be only applicable to women.

The mainstream narrative is that it is the one true cure for new mothers who want to regain the tightness of their vaginal muscles after childbirth. But did you know that men can do and benefit from Kegels as well? If you do not have a strong biology background or if you are not someone who has studied sexual dysfunctions in-depth, the chances are that this is new information to you.

Kegel exercises can be of incredible help to men who suffer from premature ejaculation (PE) or have a tough time keeping an erection. Experiencing PE can invoke a lot of negative emotions and thoughts in many men. The stigma associated with it can not only prevent them from getting treatment, but it can also make them reluctant to engage in any type of sexual activity.

So, What’s The Way Out?

I am sharing here a simple trick that you can start using right now to create a stronger, more reliable erection. It’s the strengthening of your Pubococcygeus muscles aka PC muscles. Your PC muscles provide support to your sexual organs and pelvis and promote sexual function. The Pubococcygeus can be made stronger with the proper exercise, just like all your other muscles. It is where Kegel exercises are helpful since they are focused on training and strengthening the PC muscles.

How Can You Do Kegel Exercises?

Pelvic muscle training is a discreet exercise that you can undertake at your own time and within the comfort and privacy of your own home. If you can identify and train your PC muscles with Kegel exercises, it can slowly but surely cause improvements in your sexual stamina. It is said that your body, including your pelvic muscles, tightens in response to pressure and tension. When you learn to relax it, you let that burden go and give your body the proper foundation for achieving and maintaining easy erections.

How To Locate Them?

One of the best ways of identifying your pelvic muscles is while urinating. When you are urinating, try stopping the flow before you have fully emptied your bladder. In order to do so, your body will automatically be using your pelvic muscles. Once you can identify the pulling sensation that accompanies that action, you will easily be able to identify your PC muscles. When you have identified the muscles, there is no need for you to interrupt urination anymore in the future.

Pc Exercises Are Easy And Don’t Require A Lot Of Time

There are two types of Kegel exercises: Short Pulses and Long Holds.

The short pulses method requires you to give your PC muscles a quick squeeze before immediately releasing them, only to repeat the same action 20 times in a row. This one is quite easy and does not take that much of an effort. The long hold method requires a bit more work and concentration from your side. From a relaxed state, slowly start squeezing and pulling up on your pelvic muscles. When you cannot pull it any longer, hold it and wait till three seconds. Try to release the muscles at the same slow pace you pulled them up. Just like the first method, you are to do it 20 times in a row. Over time, try to gradually increase your hold time. Add one plus second to your goal every week, until you reach up to ten seconds.

Stay with body relaxation: During either exercise, make sure you’re keeping your butt muscles relaxed. The idea is to specifically focus on the PC muscles. Don’t hold your breath as well. Make sure that you keep the rest of your body relaxed, while continue breathing normally as you do the exercises.

It can take around a month to notice improvements in the erectile function, but this little time and effort is worth adding to your daily routine. The best thing about Kegel exercises are that they are low risk, you can do them anywhere (at work, on the bus, or while you’re watching TV) since no one will be able to tell it and are easy to do.
