How to Cure Fatty Liver Through Ayurveda?

Fat can deposit almost everywhere in the body and when it starts depositing in the liver cells, it leads to a condition known as Fatty liver. On a broad level, clinicians classify this disease as alcoholic fatty liver and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Most of the people suffering from the fatty liver are found to be obese (1). People suffering from high cholesterol and diabetes issues might be at higher risk of developing Fatty Liver (2). The causes of Fatty liver might include excessive alcohol intake, genetic risk factors, and insulin resistance.

Some of the most common symptoms of Fatty liver are abdominal pain, weakness, nausea, sudden weight loss or weight gain, and pale skin. As the condition progresses, the blood levels of liver enzymes like SGPT and SGOT might also rise beyond the upper limit. However, this condition is completely reversible.
