Space them out evenly on a baking tray with baking/parchment paper. Use a fork to flatten them out and bake for 12-15 min. Take them out once the edges of the cookies turn golden brown and let them cool.

Place on low heat till it starts to simmer. Then, continuously stir on medium heat for 1 min. Take this off the heat. Now, mix in the vanilla extract and salt. Add in all the rest of the elements (except the chocolate chips) and combine thoroughly. Put this in the fridge for 15 min. After this, you may add the chocolate chips.
